Hosted by the Georgia Writers Museum, Haunted Eatonton is approximately a 90 minute walking tour through historic Eatonton filled with stories of Eatonton's past. Each scene is directed and performed by community members and professional performers based in Putnam and surrounding counties. This location-specific production is casting professional and amateur actors of all ages. Please see audition information below.

Technician applications for Haunted Eatonton open on Tuesday, September 1st, 2026 and close on Tuesday, September 8th, 2026 at 11:59pm. Follow the same application process as auditionees. No audition video is needed for tech-only applicants. For questions, please contact info@theartsbarn.net.
Participants must be available for all scheduled dates and times listed on the "Haunted Eatonton Audition Agreement Form."
Participants must provide a list of all conflicts leading up to the performance dates upon auditioning. Each scene director will create a cast rehearsal schedule based on their cast's availability. Once that schedule is announced, participants must remain available for all scheduled rehearsals.
Once casting is released, participants must schedule a day to get their measurements taken and an additional costume fitting. *All actors and most technicians will need measurements and a costume fitting*
Participants should be familiar with their script when they arrive on the first day of rehearsal.
Complete off-book date will be within the first week of October.
During the production, participants will be responsible for providing:
A reusable water bottle (refill station will be available at our meeting place).
Layers for warmth underneath costume.
A healthy, well-rested self and a good attitude ready for a fast-paced, professional environment.
Auditions for Haunted Eatonton consist of one acting component. *Tech-only applicants will NOT submit a video.*
Slate Requirements: Please introduce yourself, stating your name, age and/or grade, and a brief fun fact or introduction.
Monologue requirements: Film a 45 second to one minute dramatic monologue. Capture your shoulders up in frame.
Film these sections either in one take or separate takes pieced together in a single video. Upload your video to YouTube or Google Drive.
Submit all materials using the Google Form linked below. The form will close on September 8th.
